Great ShakeOut Drills in Healthcare Settings

In 2021, nearly 24 million people participated in a Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill (www.ShakeOut.org) worldwide, and many more are expected to participate in 2022! The basic action of ShakeOut is to practice “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” and other self-protective actions, however healthcare agencies also use ShakeOut Drills to test emergency plans, via tabletop discussions or full-scale community-based exercises. This free webinar, co-hosted by Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills and Connect Consulting Services, shared how healthcare providers such as hospitals, community clinics, and dialysis centers can use Shakeout to meet their CMS exercise requirements.
