Steering Committee
Purpose is to provide guidance and decision-making for ECA activities overall in support of Regional Alliance priorities. The Steering Committee combines government agencies, non-profits, academicians, scientists, businesses, institutions, the community and individuals into a collaborative movement speaking with the same voice of what to do when an earthquake strikes. The Steering Committee strives overall to increase education, raise awareness, hold events, and encourage participation and registration annually for ShakeOut and other events. The committee accomplishes this by: 1) facilitating collaboration between Regional Alliances to improve preparedness, mitigation and resiliency; and, 2) leveraging efforts, sharing our strengths and promoting participation in the annual ShakeOut Drill
