FEMA Exercise and Preparedness Tools
PrepToolkit is an online collaborative environment in which individuals from all levels of government and the private and nonprofit sectors can prepare for risks in their communities. It provides an avenue to execute preparedness activities efficiently and easily and to share this work with others.
Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)
Provides guidance on developing, executing, and evaluating exercises; explains different types of exercises and approaches.
Resilient Workplace
Partnership of several organizations committed to improving workplace resilience; provides links to business and community resilience tools:
- 7 Steps to a Disaster Resilient Workplace – This booklet offers a basic approach for organizations to improve their resiliency by taking steps to be prepared to survive and recover quickly.
- Ready Business Quakesmart Toolkit – A multi-step guided process developed by FEMA and FLASH to support businesses and other organizations to integrate mitigation within their disaster plans and business decisions.
- Disaster Resistant Business Toolkit – includes easy video instructions and templates to facilitate an organization creating or enhancing their disaster plan.
