Learn How to Take the High Ground – When a Tsunami is on its Way

This was a tsunami awareness webinar led by experts and leaders from the California Geological Survey, California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, and Earthquake Country Alliance. Attendees learned about tsunami hazards in California – what they are, where they originate, tsunami hazard maps, and more. The webinar also covered tsunami alert and warning safety messaging (and the state’s planned response), as well as what to do before, during, and after a tsunami occurs.
